The Quarantine Project

May 1, 2020

The Quarantine Project brought together performers from across dance, comedy, theatre, music, and circus. The event benefitted performers across the Portland area who had lost their jobs and security during the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic, when unemployment payouts were still months away.

The event was designed to allow Portland talent to show off their skills and wow audiences from the safety of their own living rooms.

As our community struggled to adjust to a changing world, we turned to the arts for entertainment, comfort, and clues to understanding the incomprehensible. This event gave back to those artists.

The event raised a total of $7182, allowing us to pay out to 17 in-need performers in the Portland area.
